Here are some members of my family, in my compound. My room is the blue door in the background. They were excited about taking pictures but I couldn't get them to all pose at once.
My wonderful host dad, Isaac, and his youngest, Zeina. Until recently, Zeina cried every time she looked at me. At night, they put the (solar powered) TV against the wall, and we watch a Brazilian soap opera dubbed into French.

solar TV? that's more advanced than most TVs I've seen.
